DESIGN YOUR PORTFOLIO WEB SITE
Process:
1. DESIGN (2 weeks) - Use Photoshop to design 2-3 separate web site design ideas - develop layout, color palette, navigation, typography/fonts, etc. Most web sites have 3 variations on the theme (homepage, gallery page, and informational pages (about, contact, exhibitions, etc.). Make sure your design is flexible enough to accomodate these changes.
2. CONTENT - Begin developing the content of your web site (Artist Statement, artwork, writing, etc.)
3. PROGRAMMING - Use Dreamweaver to code your site. We will talk about templates to use, gallery options, and other issues as they arise.
